The body of 31-year-old M. Maglima, wife of Havildar ML Rao posted in Army’s JLA (Junior Leadership Academy) in Bareilly’s Cantt police station area was found hanging from a noose in her government residence. On Monday night, when Havildar Rao returned from sports practice, he saw that his wife’s body was hanging from the fan. On receiving the information, Cantt police station in-charge Jag Narayan Pandey reached the spot with the police. The police sent the body for post-mortem.
On Tuesday, army officers also reached the postmortem house and investigated the matter. According to the police, initially, it is being said that the suicide was due to mutual differences between the husband and wife. However, neither any suicide note was found near the dead body nor any data was found in the mobile which could clarify the reason.

When Inspector Cantt called the mother of the deceased, she told that her daughter was a resident of Racharla police station area of Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh. She told that she had married her daughter to her own brother. They have a tradition of marrying the maternal uncle and niece. She does not want to make any allegation in this matter. The deceased has two sons aged 11 and 9 years. The police also questioned them. The children also could not tell anything specific about their mother’s death.
